This time two seasons ago, many fans of the Heat were concerned that their team was not winning. Those who had issues with how the Heat were formed where giddy like a little 1960's boy with a bag of marbles. Fast forward to this season and the Heat look almost unbeatable. The beginning of a dynasty, some would say.
Although our organization expects to compete for Championships every season. Success is cyclical. We cannot stay at the top forever (retriements, age, free agent loss, trades, and drafts that don't pan out). Remember the Dunleavy, Pfund-Harris seasons?
Well, fear not my Laker brotheren. We will rise to the top again. Patience is key. Our roster will come together and learn how to play with each other. Every player in the top 6, will have to learn how to adjust thier game, to compliment the others on the court. Once that is accomplished our team will be a dominant factor once again.
Purlpe, Gold and White forever!

It's over. Congratulations to the Heat for winning the championship. Regardless of anyones personal feelings about Lebron, he and most members of the Heat have paid their dues and are deserving of the Trophy. The Thunder will have their time soon. I'm a Lakers fan, but it seems that they will be ruling or at the top of the Western conference for the next few years.

While I understand the desire for owners and fans to want their teams to win. It is really sad to see the state of affairs with the down right stupid firings and "resignations" of so many coaches at the collegiate and professional level, these days. We should all be a lot more realistic with our teams chances and the time that it takes to build a winning program. Additionally, everything runs in a cycle. No organization can stay on top forever! What goes up must come down.
Firings in: MLB,NBA, College Football, & Basketball.
I never get too high or low with regard to my favorite teams. I think we should all keep our priorities straight and in perspective.
